Traffic Tracking

Traffic Tracking measures the effectiveness of a source directing visitors to a web site and persuading them to take a desired action. Setting up Traffic Tracking is necessary to enable powerful reporting features.

There are two methods of tracking – Click Tracking and Conversion Tracking.

Click Tracking – general tracking, without product-level tracking.
This method is recommended for most merchants without coding skills.

To make use of Click Tracking you need to:

  • Go to Edit Campaign -> Traffic Tracking
  • Enable Click Tracking
  • Click Save

Conversion Tracking – advanced product-level tracking with powerful detailed reporting.
Requires to add the conversion tracking to the store. Please see instructions for supported shopping carts at Traffic Tracking Integration.

To make use of Conversion Tracking you need to:

  •     Go to Edit Campaign -> Traffic Tracking -> Conversion Tracking
  •     Enable Click Tracking
  •     Add conversion tracking to checkout success page
  •     Verify tracking
  •     Click Save
